In Seeed, we greatly value our community of Seeeders. The Seeed Studio Contributor Program is a collaborative program launched to unite our dear friends from all over the world and co-build innovative solutions together.

How can you contribute and be part of our team?

As an open sourced platform, we welcome contributions from all individuals who wish to help us improve our wiki platform.

1. We have a bunch of assignments available(shown below) on GitHub that our team needs help with to enhance our wiki platform, each with detailed description of what is required.
2. Once completed, the contributor can submit their content via "Pull Request"
3. Upon approval, Our team of maintainers will merge the submission and record the contributions and provide tokens of appreciations.

We express our gratitude to contributors by offering a range of rewards based on the difficulty of the assignment (Tier 0/1/2/3), the expected completion time (1/3/7/15 days), the actual submission time, and the quality of the content.

Open Calls - Every Little Step Counts!

We also have a series of ongoing tasks, the topic ones. Such as:

• Using our products to export projects in a specific area.
• Designing different styles of shells for certain products.
• Writing tutorials with our engineers.

What do we offer?

We wish to express our gratitude to our contributors by offering a range of rewards. Depending on the estimated difficulties (Tier 0/1/2/3) and the estimated time of work (1/3/7/15 Days) as well as the actual time taken and submitted content, we will offer varying levels of rewards.

1. Seeed products and cash bonus will be provided to our contributors as a token of appreciation.
2. For contributors who join our "Ranger Program" (to be announced soon), we will offer even more exciting rewards, including access to our prototype products.
3. In addition, all contributors and their contributions will be acknowledged and showcased on our wiki platform as a token of appreciation.

What are some examples of tasks available?

We’ve already listed some tasks on GitHub. Currently, the task types include:

1. Various applications and software deployments for Seeed Studio products, from MCU board applications to industrial-grade device software deployments.

2. Iteration of webpage structure and content, from simple grammar corrections to entire page content updates and restructuring of pages.

3. Any additional thoughts about “solution-based” prototype, a deployable solution, or even an interesting project idea! (Digital automation; Decentralized digital transformation; Infrastructures deployable in the wild; Carbon neutrality; Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs); Problem solved in daily life; TinyML; etc.) We value creativity and innovation so feel free to share your ideas with us!
