Seeed Fusion One-Stop Manufacturing and Delivery Guide

Seeed Fusion''s one-stop service brings together manufacturing, customization, warehousing, order fulfillment, and sales channel support. It helps hardware teams move from design files and production requirements to product delivery.

The project scope is based on the existing design, product plans, and delivery requirements. This guide explains what each service covers and how the stages connect. The specific work is confirmed for each project.

From Manufacturing to Delivery

Requirements and File Review

At the start of a project, the manufacturing team reviews the product requirements and production documents to assess the work involved. Documents may include a bill of materials (BOM), Gerber files, mechanical drawings, and other product files. The documents required depend on the project scope.

For an explanation of these documents and their uses, see the Seeed Fusion Guide to Preparing Manufacturing Documents. PCB and PCBA file formats and submission requirements are covered in the Seeed Fusion PCB & PCBA Service Guide.

Manufacturing and Validation

Manufacturing includes material sourcing, assembly, and the relevant testing. For projects involving new product introduction, pilot production, or volume production, the preparation and validation activities are confirmed according to the design and manufacturing requirements.

For the validation priorities at the sample and pilot production stages, see the Seeed Fusion Guide to Sample Validation and Pilot Production. For functional testing and test fixture requirements, see the Seeed Fusion PCBA Testing Solutions Guide.

Product Customization

Projects that need to meet specific branding or application requirements can include logo customization, packaging customization, firmware flashing, or accessory changes.

For light customization options based on standard Seeed products and the sample approval process, see the Seeed Fusion Light Customization Service Guide.

Warehousing and Regional Inventory

After production, warehousing and inventory management can be arranged according to the delivery plan. Products can also be shipped to the appropriate warehouses to meet regional needs.

Warehousing and fulfillment services can also cover products made by a manufacturer designated by the customer. Receiving and handling arrangements are confirmed for each project.

Order Fulfillment and Shipping

Once products are in inventory, they can be picked, packed, and shipped according to orders. Destinations may include customers, partners, distributors, or deployment sites. Bulk fulfillment can also be arranged for crowdfunding campaigns and similar projects.

Storage, packaging, shipping, and destination requirements are confirmed as part of the project.

Sales Channel and Promotional Support

Fusion''s sales channel support may involve Seeed Marketplace, e-commerce platforms, specialist distributors, and regional partners. Product promotion may also include community activities, events, and content.

Suitable channels and partnership models are assessed for each product and project. Specific product listing, distribution, and promotional arrangements are subject to the partnership agreement.

Costs and Project Quotations

Manufacturing costs cover work such as component sourcing, assembly, testing, and project services. Warehousing and fulfillment costs cover storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

Costs depend on the product, quantities, required processes, storage arrangements, and delivery destinations. The team confirms the service scope and quotation based on the project requirements. Current fee information is available on the relevant service pages.
